Every work session should improve the Knowledge Site. Temporary discussion should become permanent knowledge where appropriate. Important conclusions should never remain only in conversation history. Incremental improvement is preferred over large periodic documentation efforts – a small update after every session compounds; a large catch-up effort is exactly the risky pattern this whole Knowledge Preservation Project exists to avoid repeating.
Why this is a project milestone
This sprint captures the transition from conversation continuity to operational continuity, where the project itself – not the AI conversation – became the unit of work. It connects naturally to Sprint 8’s Knowledge Preservation milestone (which established that knowledge must be independent of AI memory) and Sprint 13’s Project Governance milestone (which established curating knowledge, not just recording it) – together these three milestones describe a single progression: from conversations, to preserved knowledge, to governed knowledge, to now a continuously-operating project that doesn’t depend on any single session at all.
